This video shows the most accurate and historically correct gun loading drill that AGFA has conducted to date. The drill now includes the "priming" function. While the reproduction M1900 firing device has been on hand for several years, it is only recently that AGFA has obtained an original Primer Pouch. We then fabricated ten replica (non-firing) M30 electric primers. In the gun drill video the removal of the "fired" primer is shown shortly after breach opening, and then the insertion of a "new" primer just after the breach block is closed. The elevation and depression of the gun tube and the ability to traverse and track a target are also applied in this gun drill. This drill shows clearly it is possible to load the M1900 6-inch rifle in under 15 seconds as required by the Army during WWII.
