Fort Hancock Harbor Defense Lantern Tour

Volunteer living historians from the Army Ground Forces Association (AGFA) uniformed as World War II era Coast Artillery soldiers will take you for a walk that includes several sites across Fort Hancock, highlighting Battery Gunnison/New Battery Peck. Tour will start and end at the Post Guardhouse/Fort Hancock Museum (across from Park HQ). Bring a flashlight and dress for the weather. 1.5 miles

This walk will take you deep into history as we visit forgotten locations of Fort Hancock's storied past!

Your guides will be volunteers who restore, preserve and interpret Battery Gunnison/New Battery Peck for the National Park Service.
